Privacy Policy

When you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile photo. Google sign-in is optional and the app can be used as a guest.

When you run an image search, the photo you select or take is sent securely to our search service and to the eBay Browse API to find visually similar listings. We also process the selected price and condition filters, a random search identifier, request status, marketplace, result count, and product results.

Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to take or select a product image.

Information is used to provide image search, return eBay product matches, remember your optional Google account, operate the request queue, prevent service abuse, diagnose failures, measure aggregate usage, and track affiliate-link clicks.

Search images are sent to eBay solely to perform the visual product search. Google provides optional identity verification. Cloudflare hosts the application service and data storage. Product links open eBay, where eBay's own privacy terms apply.

We do not sell personal information. Google account details are not sent to eBay. Affiliate click measurement uses a search reference and does not include your Google email address.

Search photos are kept only long enough to process the queued request. They are deleted after the search succeeds or fails and have a maximum automatic expiry of 24 hours.

Search history, saved products, and saved search photos are stored locally on your device and are not cloud-synced. You can remove individual entries in the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local data.

Optional Google account details remain on our service until you delete your account. Operational search records and aggregate usage logs may be retained as needed to secure, maintain, and improve the service; they do not contain the submitted search photo.

Signed-in users can open the account menu in the app and choose Delete account. This permanently removes the Google profile stored by our service, clears the app's local search library, and revokes the app's Google access. Guest users can remove local searches and saved products directly in the app or by uninstalling it.

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to administrative services is restricted, credentials are kept on the server, and submitted images are removed after processing. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled.

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
